ABOUT TACKLING MATTERS
We exist to rebuild and empower communities around the world affected by war or disaster by providing sports pitches, equipment, and rehabilitation units that offer both physical and psychological support.
Building football pitches for injured, amputated and PTSD soldiers and civilians is not just an idea, its a lifeline that can transform their recovery and future. For soldiers who have sacrificed so much, football offers more than physical rehabilitation; it becomes a pathway to reclaiming their dignity, strength and sense of purpose.
The pitches we provide to these regions are not just fields of play - they are arenas of healing, where these incredible warriors rediscover their courage and capacity to thrive. In the face of adversity, this initiative stands as a powerful message: hope endures.
"THE HUMAN SPIRIT CAN RISE, HEAL AND PLAY AGAIN..."

How will my donation / ticket money be used?Your donation will help us empower and rebuild communities and individuals affected by war or disaster by providing sports pitches, equipment, medical supplies, and rehabilitation support. Hosting this tournament, which will bring together over 120 amputee footballers from Ukraine and across the UK, involves costs such as flights, visas, accommodation, transport, food, and entertainment. Your generous contribution will directly support these efforts, ensuring the success of this impactful event.
-
Do I need a ticket to attend the tournament on 18 April?Yes. Hosting such a tournament and bringing our friends over from Ukraine comes at a considerable cost. We are asking for donations to help cover these expenses and support our ongoing work in providing pitches and equipment to communities in war-torn regions. We have a suggested minimum donation of £25 per person, but we appreciate any contribution you can give. Due to the strict security measures at Sandhurst, if you plan to attend on 18 April, we require a list of all names in your party/family in advance; otherwise, you will not be granted entry. By donating and providing your name, you will secure access to Sandhurst.

How do I receive news about donations? You can follow our fundraising campaign on our social media platforms or revisit this site to track our progress.
